Jennifer Aniston has certainly established herself as one of the top actresses. From FRIENDS to the recent Murder Mystery 2, the star has carved out a space for herself and thrived in it. However, even today, America’s sweetheart is haunted by a relationship that once left her broken.
Even though it has been years since she divorced and separated from Brad Pitt, in many ways, she hasn’t been allowed to forget this incident by the media and public. However, Aniston isn’t bothered. Instead of getting bogged down, she has reclaimed her narrative in the story and used it to crack jokes.
When Jennifer Aniston Brought Up Her Marriage To Brad Pitt To Reassure Ellen DeGeneres
Last year, Ellen DeGeneres ended her long-running talk show after 19 seasons. She began it in 2003 and her very first guest was Jennifer Aniston. So it was only fitting that the actress was her last guest as well. Since the actress had experience ending a popular and long TV show- FRIENDS, as well, so the host asked her for some advice.
The Horrible Bosses star did give advice and stated what she did after her famous series ended. However, her words raised some eyebrows. Aniston said:
“Well, I got a divorce and went into therapy. And then I did a movie called The Breakup. I just kind of leaned into the end. I was like, ‘You know what, guys? Let’s just make this a completely new chapter. Let’s end everything and start new.'”
That’s absolutely fine advice and she knows what she’s talking about. The star was married to Brad Pitt in 2000 and announced her divorce from him in 2005. Apart from the Bullet Train actor, Aniston was also married to Justin Theroux in 2015. She divorced her second husband in 2018 and has been single ever since. However, singlehood isn’t going that great for the actress.
Jennifer Aniston Admitted That She Would Like To Get Into A Relationship Again
Jennifer Aniston isn’t tired of being single, but it looks like she would like to get into a relationship. However, marriage isn’t something she is interested in anymore, probably because of her past two failed ones. The We’re the Millers star said:
“Never say never, but I don’t have any interest (in marriage). I’d love a relationship. Who knows? There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, ‘I need support.'”
The actress further explained that it would be great to come home after a long day and fall into someone’s arms. But does she have any relationship regrets? Doesn’t seem so. However, Jennifer Aniston acknowledges that she had some growing up to go over the years so that she could make her personal life better. In the end, she stated that she was a work-in-progress.
