Henry Cavill was deeply ashamed after he got a boner in the sets of The Tudors

Even though Henry Cavill can be considered one of the sexiest and most charming personalities in the movie industry, even Superman himself isn’t immune from getting himself involved in awkward circumstances. And one of his career’s most embarrassing moments was on the sets of The Tudors.

In his interview with Men’s Fitness, the Man of Steel revealed one of his most embarrassing moments, when he accidentally got a boner while performing an intimate scene with his co-star. He shared that he wasn’t completely prepared before the sequence and was red-faced after the incident and didn’t shy from apologizing to everyone on the crew. He stated,

“It’s happened to me once and it was very embarrassing. A girl had to be on top of me, she had spectacular br*asts, and I hadn’t rearranged my stuff into a harmless position. She’s basically rubbing herself all over me, um, it got a bit hard. I had to apologize profusely afterward. It’s not great when you’re in a professional acting environment and somebody gets a boner”

After the incident, The Witcher actor was cautious about his following s*x sequences in the show. But since that blunder, the actor has been pretty vocal about his viewpoints on onscreen intimacy.

Henry Cavill isn’t comfortable with performing intimate scenes

The Man of Steel actor has been outspoken about his views on onscreen intimacy and has repeatedly stressed that he is uncomfortable while performing them. The actor shared that he doesn’t enjoy being in those circumstances, as it is pretty awkward to stay half-naked and perform an intimate sequence in front of his whole crew. Cavill stated,

“It’s acutely uncomfortable being naked in a roomful of people. The very last thing it is is sexy. The actual physicality is very uncomfortable. All you’re doing is smacking your nuts against someone, and nothing is going in.”
