The actor has also a praiseworthy reputation in Disney for crowning the role of Woody in the animated Toy Story Franchise. So when he was asked by the host about his absence from Disney’s very own MCU, he revealed that he never got an offer:

Horowitz: “Ok, Mr. Disney himself, Tom Hanks, why are you not in a Marvel movie? They’ve asked you by now.”

Hanks: “No! Not to my knowledge, have they…I do not know, I do not know. Boy, talk about coin of the realm, you know, it’s like holy cow!”

But after so long as the conversation’s been raised again, some fans are excited and convinced that he should be cast in the MCU. While there’s a big question mark there as MCU’s in a phase where they need actors for long-term plans. Still some fans suggest the Red Hulk can be a wise choice.

It seems that Tom Hanks was in a very positive approach towards Marvel while giving the interview. He wholeheartedly praised the performances in the franchise:

“Whoa! The MCU, alright. And it’s got Spider-Man and the X-Mans and all the mans and all the women. Look, I haven’t seen them all, I’ll give you that right now. But the ones I’ve seen, I’ve never come away from it without thinking ‘There’s a couple of great performances in there, man, those people really gave their all.’”

Following that he was asked about his thoughts on how MCU manages to get the best actors on board. To this, the Forrest Gump actor admitted that honestly, he had no idea but whatever they do, it’s more than awesome:

“I don’t know how they do that, I do not know. And then, after that, it’s like, ‘Did they examine the theme that I wanted to be seen?’ And I can tell you, all of them are quite good, Josh, they’re all quite good.”

We can’t give any assurance though of his introduction as there has not even been the slightest hint of that. But from the long-term plans of the MCU and his tightly packed slate till the end of 2025, nobody knows he may be spotted somewhere someday.

On top of it, the fan casting of Red Hulk can also be a true possibility. With the rights of all the characters of Hulk coming back soon in the MCU, and with the rumor of a World War Hulk project, there can be hopes kept. Although some people may doubt as Thunderbolt Ross, the alter-ego of Red Hulk already exists in the MCU, the multiversal concept can also easily solve that.
