With a release date just around the corner, some very popular web-slingers have made a rather interesting appearance in San Diego this week as an early advertisement Train art; the web-slingers in question are Spider-Man and Miles Morales in an attempt to advertise their upcoming Spider-Man 2 game which is releasing in October 2023 and is having a panel during San Diego Comic-Con.

Next week on the 20th of July, Insomniac Games will be hosting its panel in regards to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and some more information regarding the game itself; so far, all we know is the name of this panel which is titled Symbiotic Relationships. From this title, we can assume that it will be a panel based primarily on characters like Miles, Peter and Venom, but who knows as we may get some more teasers in regards to the story that will be unfolding in this upcoming sequel.

As of now, we don’t have much more information to go on with what will be shown during this panel, but if past events are anything to go by, back in 2018 during the SDCC, a story reveal trailer was released for Insomniac Games’ first Marvel Spider-Man game, which is giving us hope that a new trailer will drop next week revealing a bit more as to what we will expect during the campaign of Spider-Man 2 in regards to our heroes and villains.

What does this Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Train art tell us?

As it always happens when gaming developers do this sort of advertisement, it is used to bring attention to their game and to grab the eyes of gamers worldwide; it is also used to try and hype up the game itself by using things like the main key art for the game showing Spider-Man and Miles Morales front and cover with Spider-Man having a symbiotic arm and also showing us a set release date for the game itself.

Unfortunately, this release, as always, has the potential to change if Insomniac Games decides it needs more time to work on the game, but as they have done this advertisement stunt, it helps to reveal that they feel setting a release date for the world to see on a Train it implies that they will be keeping to that release date as much as they can.
