‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Season 6 Begins Filming

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. started filming yesterday, as well as revealed the title for Season 6 Episode 1.

Nervous fans rejoiced on May 14th, when ABC and Marvel Television announced that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.had indeed been picked up for a sixth Season. All though this is a feeling fans have gotten got used to, during the summer after season finales, awaiting the fate of their favorite S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents. ABC had announced that not only would the show be returning, but it would also be coming back with a shortened season, 13 episodes, something the show has not had in past, usually having 22 episode seasons.

With the news also came the time block for a return which was announced as Summer 2019, most fans were happy of its return but not excited for the longer than normal wait ahead for new episodes. Even with the show being a year away, it looks as though the filming for Season 6 will start sooner than initially expected, yesterday to be exact.

Yes, as of yesterday Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. began filming their newest season starting with obviously episode 1 which has been titled “Missing Pieces”. This episode will also mark the second time we have seen Clark Gregg come on and direct an episode, the last episode being Episode 6 Season 5 “Fun and Games”.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been a ride that started off semi-bumpy and has turned into one of the best pieces of what we have come to know as the MCU. The sooner we get a new season the better, and it looks like we will be getting more news sooner than expected which should be able to hold over fans until the 2019 Summer return time slot.
