After Elizabeth Olsen's WandaVision Humiliation, Evan Peters Returns As Quicksilver In Deadpool 3? MCU Actor Said:

Evan Peters played Quicksilver in the X-Men movies as a variant of the celebrated Marvel character. Not only did he appear in three X-Men movies, his witty and outgoing personality quickly made him a fan favorite. On the other hand, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays another variant of Quicksilver, Pietro Maximoff, who unfortunately passes away at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron.

So when news struck of Evan Peters starring in WandaVision, fans were excited to have him reprise his famous role once again. Evan Peters stars as Peter Maximoff in three X-Men movies, playing a crucial supporting role as Magneto’s son. He also appeared for a brief moment in Deadpool 2 as Wade Wilson is brought to the X-Mansion. Peters was then expected by fans to reprise his role in Elizabeth Olsen starrer WandaVision as a variant of Scarlett Witch’s dead brother. Unfortunately, he was revealed to be Ralph Bohner, a nobody who was being controlled by Wanda’s arch-enemy Agatha Harkness.

Fans were disappointed with his feat as Bohner and accused Marvel of misleading them. However, it seems Marvel has plans to finally redeem itself as rumors of Evan Peters returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Deadpool 3 have gained momentum. The actor was even quoted in an interview,

“I’d be in another Marvel movie. Yeah, I think for me, Dahmer was really the last sort of dark character that I’m going to play for an extended period of time. So it was sort of a send-off to that time of working hard on things like that, and now I’m going to try to pivot. Anything in the light I’m just trying to stay out of the darkness for a while.”

Further, there are even rumors that Peters may return as Bohner in Agatha: Coven of Chaos.

While Evan Peters has hinted that he might be returning in a Marvel movie, it hasn’t been made clear which Marvel movie it may be. But seeing him briefly in Deadpool 2 and also him having starred alongside Huge Jackman‘s Wolverine, it seems possible that he would be back in action in Deadpool 3.

However, there is still doubt as to which character would he be playing. Now having starred as two characters in the Marve verse, Evan Peters might either play Ralph Bohner, which would give us more insight into his importance and character story, or else he would be reprising his role as X-Men’s Quicksilver. As per the rumors and reports, it seems possible that Peters might star as Quicksilver since the film is said to be a multiverse narrative and Wolverine is already acquainted with him.

Deadpool 3 is expected to release on May 3, 2024.
