Here’s some news for all the Marvel fans out there, the much-awaited Captain America: Brave New World’s team has finally finished filming the movie. The adventure fantasy movie will be released next year on 26 July 2024. Harrison Ford will be playing the role of Thunderbolt Ross, Anthony Mackie will portray the character of Sam Wilson, and Shira Haas will be seen as Sabra.
Reportedly, there will be many new and old faces present in the movie, but people are excited to see the 80-year-old actor as Thunderbolt Ross. As per reports, the team of Brave New World completed the production of the movie just 4 hours before the actors went on strike.
Hollywood actors union will protest to support the writer’s strike
Reportedly, many Hollywood actors will be joining the ongoing writer’s protest, making it the first two union strike in the industry. The arrangement between the studios, streaming services, and other media businesses that hire them and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Radio and Television Artists was due to expire on June 30. The same concerns that led writers to strike are there for actors as well, including decreasing income brought on by a streaming economy where royalties are no longer based on how well-liked a movie or TV show is.
Actors like Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, and Mark Ruffalo are also part of this union. Many actors threatened to quit their jobs if negotiators couldn’t come to a “transformative deal” on greater starting salaries and limits for the use of artificial intelligence.
Hollywood Actors Union and Studios will keep negotiating until mid-July
The recent news buzzing on the internet has revealed that the actors will renegotiate their terms and conditions until the mid of July. This choice will assist both parties in coming to a decision that will benefit the studios as well as the writer’s union. The Writers Guild of America went on strike in order to obtain longer exclusivity contracts, a higher minimum wage, and more authors per program. Tom Holland’s movie Spider-Man 4’s filming was stopped due to the writer’s protest. Pedro Pascal who is also a part of Holland’s upcoming superhero movie said,
“Are we going to make another movie? Of course, we are. We’re in the process, but the writers strike, nobody is working during the strike. We’re all being supporters, and whenever they get themselves together, we’ll get started.”

Due to the writer’s strike, several significant projects had to be delayed until the writers can make up their minds to return. If the actors also join the ongoing writers’ protest this may bring delays in many other big projects.
