In most places, people are judged for their looks. This is especially applicable to anyone in front of a camera in any way. From Ben Affleck to Jude Law, everyone is judged on their looks. So actors and celebrities need to look the best they ever have. As a result, plastic surgeries, although rarely ever acknowledged publicly, are rampant in the industry.
However, going under the knife isn’t necessary for every star or famous public personality. Sometimes, they go for simple cosmetic procedures like a hair transplant. In fact, 7 famous men have undergone hair transplants to enhance their looks.
1. David Beckham
The former footballer is known for his skills on the field as well as his charming looks. However, once upon a time, he almost lost his charm due to hair loss. Even though he never publicly announced the hair transplant, many suspect that in 2018 he did undergo the procedure. It’s because before this, he had thinning hair on the top of his head, and there was a bald area present on the top of the skull as well.
2. Gordon Ramsey
Gordon Ramsey is one of the most famous English chefs. He is known for shows like Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares. Even though he has never confirmed undergoing a hair transplant treatment, but Body Expert site suggests that he underwent the FUE procedure in 2011. The outlet explained that around 2,500 grafts were probably used to fill in his receding hairline and temporal area.
3. Sylvester Stallone
The Body Expert site suggests that action star and Rocky himself, Sylvester Stallone underwent a hair transplant to re-densify and reduce his hairline. The outlet said that the Rambo actor didn’t suffer from advanced baldness. So he probably did it to look better.
It’s possible he underwent this cosmetic treatment in 2013. As for the procedure the actor underwent, it’s very likely FUE or Extraction per Follicular Unit.
4. Mel Gibson
Controversial and yet charming, Mel Gibson is one of the most well-known actors to have undergone hair implant treatment. There’s a stark difference between his early 2000s pictures and late 2000s pics. In the former ones, he can be seen with a receding hairline and severe hair loss issues. People think he underwent the procedure sometime between 2006 and 2007 because, before that, he was a Norwood stage 4 bald on the scale.
5. Ben Affleck
Body Expert revealed that Ben Affleck had early-stage baldness (Norwood stage 3) in the 2000s. It was especially visible in the late 2000s and early 2010s. But around 2014, he got the procedure that helped his receding hairline and the sparse vertex present at the very top of his skull. Although many fans feel his hairline is receding again, it isn’t sure if he will undergo the treatment once more.
6. Elon Musk
Elon Musk needs no introduction. He is the richest man on the Earth and the owner of Starlink, Tesla, and Twitter. Old pictures of the CEO, dating back to the 90s, show that he was suffering from advanced baldness. Sometime in 2002, he underwent hair implant treatment by using the FUT technique, Body Expert reported. It’s speculated that he has undergone more hair transplant treatments as well.
7. Jude Law
Jude Law’s hair issues, like Ben Affleck’s, are visible and much talked about as well. The star of films like Captain Marvel as well as the upcoming Star Wars Skeleton Crew, he began suffering from advanced hair loss and receding hairline, which was probably Norwood 3 or 4. He then opted for a hair transplant to correct his baldness. Body Expert guessed that he must have undergone the treatment in 2011 and then perhaps underwent another one in 2014.
These aren’t the only stars to have undergone cosmetic procedures like a hair transplant treatment. But they certainly are some of the biggest names in the film and entertainment industry. Also, it looks like undergoing this procedure endeared them even more to the public.
