George Clooney is a veteran actor who has essentially seen the downfall and the rise of his career in Hollywood over the years. Having a fair share of equally good and bad movies, Clooney has often made the regrettable choices of starring in several B-listers.

5) The Good German (2006) – 34%

Starring alongside Cate Blanchett, Tobey Maguire, and, Beau Bridges, George Clooney portrayed the role of Jake Geismer in the 2007 film titled The Good German. With the genre of the movie being drama/noir, the story was quite intriguing but not good enough to get those ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.

Finding himself in the middle of a murder investigation, an American military journalist has to solve the case involving his former girlfriend in post-war Berlin. The film received a record-low rating of 34% on Rotten Tomatoes and became one of Clooney’s worst-rated movies.

4) George Clooney’s The Monuments Men (2014) – 30%

Another World War II movie that saw George Clooney’s failure was The Monuments Men. The 2014 movie saw Clooney as the director and the main lead actor alongside Matt Damon, Bill Murray, and, Cate Blanchett.

Based on the book titled The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves, and the Greatest Treasure Hunt in History, Clooney leads an ensemble team of people to steal relics from Nazi thieves and return them to their original owners. Well, audiences did not like the film that much, and The Monuments Men received a low rating of 30% on Rotten Tomatoes.

And here’s where the score starts getting hilariously low. Back in 1997, George Clooney portrayed the role of Batman alongside Chris O’Donnell’s Robin in Batman & Robin. With Joel Schumacher as the director, the movie depicted a comedic Batman that the world didn’t need to take seriously.

2) Grizzly II: Revenge (2020) – 8%

This movie had quite a bit of complications along the way. Back in 1983, George Clooney recorded some scenes for the movie but due to production issues, the film was never released, until now. Well, the film was recently released by combining the available footage and it turned out to be quite a chaotic mess.

With small roles, the 2020 movie received a low rating of 8% on Rotten Tomatoes and was easily dubbed as one of the most cringe films of the actor. And yet, another movie took the trophy home which is George Clooney’s worst-rated movie of all time.
