Marvel Cinematic Universe’s newest creation, “Eternals” has been in the uproar recently. The Angelina Jolie starter directed by Oscar-winning Chinese filmmaker, Chloe Zhao leans towards the artistic side of the universe’s productions. The grand sets and out-of-the-world cinematography are noteworthy. Although, it still is hard to tune out the negative reactions the movie has received.
Negative Reactions To “Eternals”
“Eternals” garnered a lot of negative criticism. Though the focal point of this criticism seems to the “Rotten Tomatoes”. In modern times when everyone is a critic ( Thanks to Twitter), these reviews are just the tip of the iceberg. The rotten Tomato view aren’t an indicator of the public’s opinion at large. However, for a Marvel Movie intricately constructed to appeal to the audience, the score seems low. Moreover, these reviews seem to be criticizing the plot. Although, it is the first Marvel movie with a deaf hero also accommodating the LGBTQ community,
But, through the hate, fans of the MCU have come to the rescue! Truthfully, “Eternals” really did a number at the box office. Even though the negative criticism took the front stage, there was a lot of positive too. The reviews were thoroughly mixed.
