Sandra Bullock’s Reason Behind Retiring from Hollywood
Sandra Bullock has managed to lead a triumphant career in the film industry for nearly 35 years. But after such a successful career, the renowned actress has decided to take a break from Hollywood, putting her actor-producer life behind for a very valid reason.
In March 2022, the then-57-year-old actress announced that she will be stepping back from her position as an actress as well as producer, the reason behind being Bullock wanting to completely devote her time to her family. Appearing on the TV show Entertainment Tonight, the twice Oscar-nominated actress explained the same, saying,
“I take my job very seriously when I’m at work. I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family. That’s where I’m gonna be for a while. I want to be at home. I’m not doing anyone any favors who’s investing in a project if I’m saying, ‘I just want to be at home.’ Cause I was always running, I was always running to the next thing. I just want to be present, and responsible for one thing.”
When will Sandra Bullock Return to the Big Screen?
After the news of her retirement spread, her fans were left shocked and sad, but they also respected and supported Sandra Bullock’s decision. But even so, her admirers have been curious as to when the actress will make her comeback on the big screen. Being asked this question in an interview, the Miss Congeniality actress responded,
“I don’t know. I don’t know. Until I don’t feel like I feel now when I’m in front of a camera.”
