“Intervention” – Season 2, Episode 18

Zatanna, Blue Beetle and Rocket.

Here, we see the team trying to rescue Blue Beetle from the Reach’s control. The episode also has some great character moments, as the team deals with the emotional fallout of Blue Beetle’s situation as the team have the battle their friend who is under the control of a defective scarab and also learn about the origin of the scarab and the connection it has to the original Blue Beetle, Ted Kord.

“Endgame” – Season 2, Episode 20

The Justice League

In the series finale of Season 2 we see the team facing off against the Reach and their army of soldiers in a final battle to save Earth. The episode is full of action and heartbreak, as the team battles the Reach and their army of soldiers but also loses one of their most beloved teammates. The final scene is a cliffhanger that leaves the fate of the team and the future of the series up in the air.

 

“Misplaced” – Season 1, Episode 19

Klarion the Witch Boy

One of the most unique episodes of Young Justice. Here, the team battles the sorcerer Klarion, who has split the world in two and sent all of the adults to one dimension and all of the children to another. Filled with creative storytelling, the team must navigate a world without adults and battle. Now the only heroes call upon not just Shazam, but Billy Batson to travel between both realms to defeat Klarion.

 

“Depths” – Season 2, Episode 9

Nightwing, Wally, Artemis and Aqualad

This episode sees the team investigating a break-in at a Black Manta facility, where they discover that Aqualad has been working with Black Manta all along. The episode is full of twists and turns, as the team uncovers Aqualad’s true motives and battles Black Manta and his army of soldiers. But also, the final scene sets up the events of the rest of the season perfectly. As the team have to go to great lengths to defeat the Light.

 

“Summit” – Season 2, Episode 19

The Light

This pivotal episode sees the team attending a summit of the Justice League and their allies, where they discover that the Reach has been manipulating events throughout the galaxy, as the team uncovers the Reach’s ultimate plan and battles their army of soldiers. Secrets are finally revealed, and an epic showdown takes place between our heroes and the Light.

“Satisfaction” – Season 2, Episode 9

Roy Harper and Oliver Queen

This standout episode explores what happened to the original Roy Harper after the clone finally discovers him. We get a look at what experimentation Lex Luthor is working on and how Roy Harper plays a pivotal role in those plans. Furthermore, we are also given a look at the life of these heroes and what they do when they aren’t trying to save the world. A look at both the hardships and victories these heroes endure on a daily basis.

 

“Failsafe” – Season 1, Episode 16

The Young Justice Team

One of the most shocking and intense episodes of the series, this episode sees the team facing off against the alien race who have invaded Earth. While the action is spectacular as the team battles the aliens and their army of robots, there is something else happening behind the scenes and this episodes final twist is one of the most shocking of the series. However, the level of intensity and shock is to the degree of Avengers: Infinity War.

 

“Usual Suspects” – Season 1, Episode 26

Robin, Zatanna, Superboy and Aqualad

A standout episode as the Justice League finally settles on worthy picks to join the League. But we also get some of the most memorable moments from the series as the team finally start to see the reward from their effort to work as a team, by building trust within each other and sharing their secrets. Furthermore, we finally discover who is truly the mole of the team and how they have been taking advantage of the Justice League this whole time.

“Homefront” – Season 1, Episode 12

Artemis and Robin

Another extremely intense episode in the series, as we watch the sheer determination of the team as they battle a foe they have never faced before. Siblings of Red Tornado, Red Volcano and Red Torpedo infiltrate the cave and push the team to their limits. Each member starts to get taken out one by one, leaving just Robin and Artemis to try and save their team and stop their enemies. The two heroes without any special powers must step up and find a way to win.

 

“Independence Day” – Season 1, Episode 1

Heroes and their sidekicks

The episode that started the whole series, we kick off the series with the daily lives of these sidekicks battling arch enemies alongside their heroes. Each of them excited for their big day as they finally got to enter the Hall of Justice. But when they are forced into battle, we bare witness to these sidekicks finally mature into the heroes we eventually grow to love throughout the series.
