Zendaya assisted Tom Holland in posting Spider-man: Far From Home trailer
Tom Holland opened up on his grand blunder during the promotion of Spider-man: Far From Home during a conversation on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He was joined by the cast of the film, including Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jacob Batalon, and Jake Gyllenhaal.
On being asked about the trailer that Tom Holland had shared on social media, the actor recalled a hilarious mistake. Holland shared,
“Well, it’s no secret I’m not very good at Instagram. I basically forgot to post the trailer.”
“I woke up in the morning — we were supposed to post it at six a.m. I couldn’t figure out why I was getting so many more followers. I was like, ‘This is great! What a great way to start the day!’ It was like a couple hundred thousand. I was like, ‘This is amazing!’ And then I start scrolling, and I see the trailer, and I panic, and I was trying to download the trailer from my email, and I couldn’t. So I had to FaceTime [Zendaya], and then she sent me a video of how to do it. So essentially I’m an old man.”
Holland’s girlfriend Zendaya confirmed, “It’s true. It’s really bad.”
Tom Holland started dating Zendaya around 2021, when they were filming their Spider-man third installment.

How was Tom Holland selected for the Spider-man role?
As per the reports, despite having some experience in acting movies, Holland had to audition along with 1500 other actors for the role of Peter Parker. Marvel casting head Sarah Halley Finn saw his audition and told directors, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo,
“This is the guy. You’re going to love him.”
Producers Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal were already impressed by Holland’s performance in his previous films like The Impossible and In the Heart of the Sea. But the Russo brothers were more impressed by his dancing and gymnastics background. In his audition, Holland had done a backflip and a back handspring, which enhanced his chances for the role. The late Stan Lee, the Marvel Universe’s creator, also approved of Holland, as he said that Holland was the exact age and height he envisioned when he created the superhero character. Holland’s boyish charm and gymnastic skills worked in his favor, and he was cast for the franchise.
Spider-Man: Far From Home was a grand success, and its gross collection worldwide was $1.132 billion. It is available for streaming on Apple TV+.
