Zack Snyder stepped down as director for the DCEU film in 2017 due to a personal tragedy. The film was released with the vision of the director Joss Whedon. Though the filmmaker has not done any movies for DCEU, however, there is still a strong fan following of the Snyderverse. Numerous fans hail his work for the detailing in every aspect, from emotions to the core action scenes. A scene from the film was recently shared by a fan who appreciated the one long shot used in a comic book-based movie by Snyder.

Snyder may have wanted to move on from the Snyderverse, however, the fans are very attached to the movies. There was a movement when the fans urged Netflix to buy the Snyderverse to keep his vision alive, but, Netflix has shown no interest in the same. The new co-CEO of DCU, Gunn has also admitted that he and Snyder have had positive discussions for work in the future.
