“Zack was out here breaking barriers”: Snyder Fans Claim Director Had Superior Fight Sequences, Blame Haters for Bringing Down $2.19B Snyderverse

Zach Snyder is a popular American film director, producer, screenwriter, and cinematographer. He is mainly known for directing or producing several comic book and superhero films. He rose to fame with his impressive director for DC Extended Universe films like Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League. The movies were a massive hit with a collective gross of 2.19 billion.

Fans and haters of Zach Snyder are often at war over the better direction of the DC films. Snyder fans recently argued that action sequences in his movies are the best.

Zack Snyder’s DCEU movies to date

Zack Snyder has givens some of the highest-grossing movies of the DC Extended Universe which includes Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel and Ben Affleck’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the Director’s cut version of Justice League.

Zack Snyder stepped down as director for the DCEU film in 2017 due to a personal tragedy. The film was released with the vision of the director Joss Whedon. However, the fans were disappointed with the film and demanded the Snyder version be released. After many years of persuasion, Zack Snyder’s Justice League was released in 2021. The movie was highly appreciated for focussing on the story, the action scenes, heart-warming emotions, and a binding story.

Fans appreciate the long take actions sequence of the Snyder movies

Though the filmmaker has not done any movies for DCEU, however, there is still a strong fan following of the Snyderverse. Numerous fans hail his work for the detailing in every aspect, from emotions to the core action scenes. A scene from the film was recently shared by a fan who appreciated the one long shot used in a comic book-based movie by Snyder.

The user wrote,

“This scene is one long take was impressive. Pretty sure it’s the first time it’s been done in a CBM. Zack was out here breaking barriers & y’all were crying about superman not smiling enough 💀 very unserious bunch.”

Numerous others came in support as they appreciated the direction in the movies of Zack Snyder.

“Yes! This scene had my mouth wide open watching this awesome choreography, chaos and there’s Batman fighting them all. It was one of my best experiences seeing this.”

Snyder may have wanted to move on from the Snyderverse, however, the fans are very attached to the movies. There was a movement when the fans urged Netflix to buy the Snyderverse to keep his vision alive, but, Netflix has shown no interest in the same. The new co-CEO of DCU, Gunn has also admitted that he and Snyder have had positive discussions for work in the future.

The recent projects Zack Snyder are the zombie heist film Army of the Dead in 2021 and the space opera Rebel Moon in 2023.
