Zack Snyder addresses queries for Zack Snyder’s Justice League sequels
At the Full Circle Justice League event, the DCU director talked about the fan calls for the Justice League sequel. While Warner Bros. is presently focussing on James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DCU reboot, there is still a lot of interest among fans for more of his vision in movies. Fans have been continually supporting Zack Snyder’s movies and also launched a campaign asking Warner Bros. to sell Zack Snyder’s Justice League to Netflix. As per the fans, by selling to the OTT platform, the director can move forward with the sequel of his movies.
The fans asked Zack Snyder about a project that he would direct if he was given a blank cheque from a studio. Before the director could answer, his fans at the event said Justice League 2 and Justice League 3. Snyder also reacted to their shoutouts about potential sequels, saying,
“I guess that’s right… probably. I mean blank check, the scenario is pretty ludicrous, but I like it.”
The Full Circle event demonstrates the massive fan following and love of fan for Zack Snyder’s DCU vision. The director has an extremely loyal fan base.
Zack Snyder’s wife, Deborah Snyder reveals it is not about money
The director’s wife and co-producer Deborah Snyder, also shared her opinion as she said that their projects are not about but more focussed on the type of content. She said,
“It’s not necessarily about money always. It’s sometimes about content that might be a little more hokey or controversial. We have some smaller projects that might be even harder to get made because everyone wants the big blockbuster movies. So sometimes the smaller project that don’t take as much money are harder to actually get made.”
Snyder has also shared in the past about the strong fan movement and shared his hopes for Warner Bros. to consider the wants of the fans. However, it seems Warner Bros.’s content vision is very different from Zack Snyder‘s view.
Anyhow, there is very little chance of the studio selling to Netflix it was still interesting to know that Snyder is open to such an opportunity.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League is streaming on HBO Max.
