Ryan Reynolds talked about kissing an old woman for a film

Ryan Reynolds has appeared in some massive hit films throughout his acting career. The actor got his breakthrough role in the film National Lampoon’s Van Wilder. His appearance as a loafer boy in the film did create a buzz at the time. However, what’s more, interesting about his role is that it is based on the real-life experiences of comedian Bert Kreischer. The film is full of humor and some scenes that might startle the audience.

In the film, Reynolds is seen kissing an 80-year-old woman. Actors indeed go to any extent to entertain the audience. However, performing the scene wasn’t very easy for the actor. Previously, during an interview, the actor shared his experience of being involved in the scene. Since the scene became quite famous, the actor often came across a single question. The actor said,

“People say, How was it kissing that 80-year-old woman?”

Reynolds described it as the toughest scene. The actor said,

“It’s tough. On that note, that being said, it was damn hard kissing her. You’ve never experienced anything until you’ve had a mature, darting tongue in your mouth. Yeah.”

The interviewer, being curious about the scene, asked the actor how many takes it took to get the shot. The actor replied,

“It was all day. It was all f*cking day. Oh my God, there were gratuitous takes that did not need to be done (laughing). I know it. I know it. I was like, You guys have this from every angle?”

The film was released on April 5, 2002. Surprisingly, the lead protagonist of the film, Ryan Reynolds, just saw a rough cut of the film before it was released, and ever since then, he has never watched the film.
