Jennifer Lawrence, who rose to prominence with the X-Men and The Hunger Games franchises, was interviewed by England-based Kiss FM (via Cosmopolitan) in 2015 in light of her film, Joy, which had Bradley Cooper (The Hangover) as a supporting actor.
Lawrence collaborated with Cooper fourth time in this one, after Silver Linings Playbook (2012), American Hustle (2013), and Serena (2014). After working with him consecutively, she discovered an embarrassing fact about Cooper that she revealed in the interview.
This came after Cooper revealed on The Graham Norton Show in 2013 that Lawrence called him a “wet kisser.” As it turned out, her sloppy experience with him wasn’t the only thing that she had to bear.
During Silver Linings Playbook, Lawrence and Cooper had several dance sessions, and it led the latter to perspire hard enough from his b*tt that she noticed pit stains around the area before anywhere else.
Jennifer Lawrence Noted Bradley Cooper’s Embarrassing B*tt Sweat
Not something that an actor would want his fans to know, but Jennifer Lawrence went straight for it. Their awkward and high-energy dance performance in the final act of Silver Linings Playbook had the two rehearse for it a couple of times.
Lawrence said that Bradley Cooper had more sweat glands on his b*tt than anywhere else –
“When we were doing our dance lessons together, I’m pretty sure he sweats from his b*tt first,” she told Kiss FM. “You know, you’ve got pit stains everywhere but like his b*tt would start sweating and I’m like, ‘Is your b*tt sweating before your armpits are sweating?’”
Instead of breaking it to him, she decided to sensationalize his b*tt on a countrywide radio. She also said that telling him would reduce their “s*xual chemistry.”
Bradley Cooper Detailed His Sloppy Kiss With Jennifer Lawrence
Unlike his b*tt sweat, Cooper detailed that Lawrence did not hesitate in telling him that their kiss was sloppy. The Graham Norton Show also had other guests, such as Michael Douglas (Basic Instinct), Will Smith, and his son Jaden Smith when Cooper told the tale.
Lawrence and Cooper’s kiss did not happen in the first take, noted the latter. He said –
“After the second take, she said, ‘You’re a wet kisser.’ You don’t want to hear that. It was not a compliment.”
The duo haven’t worked together since Joy, but are thriving in their own worlds with Lawrence’s latest – No Hard Feelings being a hit, and Cooper co-producing Joker: Folie à Deux, which will release next year.
Silver Linings Playbook can be streamed on Netflix and Joy, on Amazon Prime Video.
