Thus, during an announcement video titled “Awkward Elevator Ride” alongside Chris Hemsworth, Schwarzenegger hinted at a new crossover between FUBAR and Extraction.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Hints At FUBAR/Extraction Crossover
Arnold Schwarzenegger seems to be doing great following his action comedy series FUBAR on Netflix. Shifting from the big screen to television, just like his fellow action stars, Sylvester Stallone and Harrison Ford, the Terminator actor even got a new job from Netflix. The 76-year-old got bestowed with the brand new title and responsibility of Netflix’s chief action officer.
Thereafter, announcing his CAO title during a Netflix promo, “Awkward Elevator Ride”, Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared alongside Chris Hemsworth. Thus, putting his new title to good use, Schwarzenegger advised Hemsworth, how to insert some action one-liners into his Extraction fight scenes. Since Extraction 2 recently hit the streaming platform on June 16th, the 76-year-old hinted at an epic crossover between himself and the MCU star.
Guess what, Arnold Schwarzenegger subtly hinted at a FUBAR/Extraction crossover as he advised Chris Hemsworth how to use action one-liners. “Like you could hit a guy with a giant clock and say, ‘Your time is up,’” the 76-year-old shared. Although Hemsworth didn’t appear too receptive to the Netflix CAO’s ideas, he definitely admitted to being a fan of one-liners.
Is It Possible To Create A FUBAR/Extraction Crossover?
While leaving the elevator, as Chris Hemsworth said, “Hasta la vista… baby”, a popular quote from Schwarzenegger’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day to the CAO, fans lost their minds. The subtle hint from both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Chris Hemsworth made fans super excited, despite the news being unclear if or when a FUBAR/Extraction crossover might happen.
Further, given the differences between the two projects it seems rather difficult to turn the idea into action. However, Schwarzenegger and Hemsworth’s vision certainly sounded epic. Considering the fact that the MCU star’s Extraction franchise is an epic action project, and the 76-year-old action star’s FUBAR is an action comedy series, fans believe there’s a minimal chance of a crossover.
Trusting the two Hollywood stars, fans are excited for the duo to work on the potential crossover. Meanwhile, Chris Hemsworth’s Extraction 2 is deemed to cement the star in the action genre based on his captivating performance in the film series. And on the other hand, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Action comedy series, FUBAR turned into an immensely popular Netflix original, with mixed reviews.
