In an interview, Kate Winslet talked about her friendship with DiCaprio and how she trusted him so much.

“We were very interested to let it go and see where it went. I was like, ‘If you want to smash me up, OK, you want to smash me up.’”

She will let me strangle her until she literally passes out in the scene.” Suffice it to say, their friendship is pretty strong indeed to have that level of trust. Meeting DiCaprio after quite a while, Kate Winslet stated that she almost cried while looking at her Revolutionary Road co-star. Stating that the actor changed for the better, Winslet claimed that she almost cried while looking at DiCaprio’s acting.

“He’s nicer than he was if that’s possible. He’s funnier than he was if that’s possible and he’s a better actor than he was even if that’s possible. I had to stop myself from crying because I was seeing someone for whom I have so much respect doing things as an actor that I have never seen him do before. And morph his face into positions that I’ve never seen him do before as an actor and as a person.”

Revolutionary Road was well received by the audience as it stands currently at a rating of 7.3/10 on IMDB and 67% on Rotten Tomatoes. With Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in the leading role, Revolutionary Road is available to stream on Max in the U.S.
