It looks like everyone’s favorite Superman has left his playboy days behind.
In an interview he’d given back in 2015, Henry Cavill mentioned how he wasn’t one bit fond of the “American style of dating” and would rather find a significant other to settle down with. And from the way his current dating life seems to be unraveling, who knows, he might just end up acting on his word.
The Man of Steel star also stated how he preferred the “British way” over the American instead, one which didn’t involve dating multiple women together.
Henry Cavill doesn’t like the American way of dating
When the British actor appeared for an interview with Men’s Fitness in 2015, he briefly talked about his views on dating, and how he was rather disappointed by the way Americans had set the standard for it.
He used to think of American dating being equivalent to “carpet bombing.”
“You date 16 women all at once and eventually one of them is supposed to pop out of the crowd? I can’t do that”, Cavill, 32 at the time, admitted. “I do want to find a wife and raise a family. I prefer the British way: get talking and see what happens, one at a time.”
Henry Cavill used to be single when he talked about wanting to settle down and have a family. But a lot happens in seven years because, at the time of his interview, The Witcher star was reportedly single. The present-case scenario, however, is quite different.

Henry Cavill has been in a beautiful relationship with his significant other, Natalie Viscuso, for about a year now.
The couple had announced their relationship status back in May 2021, when Cavill took to his social media to make things official. Both of them had posted lovely pictures of them playing an intense game of chess on their respective Instagram pages.
The Enola Holmes actor wrote a cute caption too, saying “this is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie, destroys me at chess”, implying that rumors about them dating were indeed true.
Cavill had previously been dating Lucy Cork until 2018, a stunt double for various movies including Black Widow. He was even involved with The Big Bang Theory actress, Kaley Cuoco for a short period.
But as far as happy relationships go, Cavill seems to be in a brilliant one with his current beau. They even celebrated his 39th birthday by staying at home and cooking a delicious meal together. And recently, they were also spotted on a romantic outing in Los Angeles just this Sunday.
For most of their time together, the pair had kept their relationship quite private, only posting about their love life once in a while. But regardless of the online presence of their romance, the couple seems to be all heart eyes for each other.
