Jennifer Lawrence called Jack Nicholson rude during the Oscars interview
Jennifer Lawrence won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 2013 and became the second youngest actress to receive the prestige at 22. She won the award for the film Silver Lining Playbook. The actress was shocked and amazed when she received the award, and her excitement spilled out with her words in the interview after the event.
On being asked by the host about her feelings after getting the Oscars award, The Hunger Games star said,
“I feel like I can’t even remember that’s just kind of an insane moment and it was just really exciting. It was just really just shocking I think I was just that’s the first time I think I’ve ever felt like an actual shock.”
Suddenly ace actor Jack Nicholson appeared from behind her and interrupted the interview. Lawrence was visibly star-struck to see the legend in front of her. Nicholson said,
“You did such a beautiful job! I don’t mean to crash your interview.”
Lawrence joked.
“Yeah, you’re being really rude.”
Nicholson mildly flirted with her, and Lawrence teased back saying,
“Really am I like your new girlfriend?”
Nicholson says that he has thought about it and retreats into the party.
Lawrence exclaimed when Nicholson was gone and hid her face in her hands. She asked,
“Is he still here?”
Jack Nicholson popped back again wearing sunglasses to say,
“I’ll be waiting.”
Lawrence shared that she would always remember this moment from the Oscars.
On being asked if she had met him before, Lawrence said a loud and clear no. She joked that it was her new life where she knows all the A-listers.

As was seen in the viral video, Nicholson was in awe of Lawrence and appreciated her for her work in the film with Bradley Cooper. He said he would like to spend time with her and even popped by to tell her he was waiting for her.
Passengers actress told ABC that after meeting Nicholson, she received a special care package from the veteran Oscar winner. It contained a flirty note that sounded like a typical ladies’ man. She said,
“He sent me flowers, and a bottle of Cristal, and a note that said, ‘Missing you already.’ Not to brag. I should have probably kept that a secret so it could just be between me and Jack.”
