Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown’s dating streak is a lot “posh” for her age. The actress is 19 now, but when she was first cast as “eleven,” she was about 12 years old. And with her in the lead role, the series took off to become a massive hit for Netflix. This garnered her immense fame at a very young age. But along the lines of the famous quote, “With great stardom, comes great risks, and even greater responsibility.”
It wasn’t long before the world started to find out about the Enola Holmes actor’s boyfriends. Just after a year of her breakthrough success, Millie Bobby Brown started dating a Musical.ly fame, Jacob Sartorius. But a relationship at that age has its downsides as they were just children. They broke up just after 7 months and publicly announced it.
Although her “right swipe” game has been rather strong with boys, the timeline is ever so confusing. She got acquainted with David Beckham’s son Romeo Beckham in 2018 but they never confirmed their dating rumors. Her most challenging relationship came her way during the Covid-19 pandemic with a TikToker Hunter “Echo” Ecimovic. But, what exactly happened?
Was An Underage Millie Bobby Brown Groomed?
She was rumored to be dating Echo during the pandemic and the population throughout the world was helpless and drenched in social media. According to the TikTok sensation, he had been living with her in her house and everybody knew about their relationship.
Echo even shared a live stream back in 2021 about how both of them have had “se*ual encounters” while they were living together. That obscene video was bashed by thousands of his followers and he just went on to say, “Yeah, I groomed her.” Millie Bobby Brown was underage and her followers were infuriated that he had probably brainwashed her into doing certain things without her consent.
His disgusting revelations ruined her image to the point that she almost became a victim of a toxic media frenzy. But, her representatives held it together and told TMZ –
“We are taking action to ensure that he stops this behavior once and for all.”

She was only 17 when Echo tried to put her in a miserable spot. He took down the video later but showed no signs of regret even when her fans were outraged by his actions.
Millie Bobby Brown Suffered In Silence
While the season had just entered into its 4th season in 2022, Millie Bobby Brown had this intense frustration and anger over her rumored toxic relationship with Echo and his disturbing allegations. The 19-year-old actor opened up about her sufferings.
“I felt very vulnerable,” Brown said in her interview with Allure. “Also, no one on the set knew I was going through this. So it was kind of nice to be able to just deal with that myself. Then it was harder when the whole world knew. When you get publicly humiliated this way, you feel so out of control and powerless.”
Nonetheless, Millie Bobby Brown’s character “eleven” and her work buddies distracted her enough to be able to heal from such a painful experience.
Netflix has found Dan Trachtenberg, the creator of Black Mirror for the swan song of Stranger Things with season 5 which is reported to release sometime in 2025.
