Xbox Game Pass for July: Titles to enjoy this month
Grand Theft Auto 5
There it is folks, one of the highest rated games of all time. We don’t think we need to delve too much into this title, given how well known and loved it is. All we will say is, if you haven’t played it before, where have you been hiding?!
So while GTA 5 may be hogging all the limelight, here’s the other titles you can enjoy;
Exoprimal
Exoprimal is definitely an exciting title for this month’s Game Pass. Capcom have described the game as an experimental PvEvP shooter where players must battle each other and also swarms of dinosaurs. But not only that, there are 13 different species of dinosaurs which will require differing strategies to defeat. We know there are loads of shooters coming out but Capcom might have a rough diamond here.
Common’Hood
Common’Hood is a community building game in which you must scavenge, build, grow, research and craft to help your community move from poverty stricken to thriving. Set inside in abandoned warehouse, you have to build a community within the confines of these walls to help people who haven’t the means to look after themselves.
McPixel 3
What is McPixel we hear you say? Think of it is a pixelated parody of MacGyver. The title character must utilise unusual methods to stop disasters on a day to day basis. This point and click game is entertaining and for people who appreciate some ludicrous adventure.
Insurgency: Sandstorm
A team- based tactical FPS which focuses on close combat and utilises object-orientated multi-player gameplay. Set in an un-named Middle Eastern territory, players must choose between two different factions ‘Security’ or ‘Insurgents’ and it should be noted that the game did receive critical acclaim for it’s realistic gameplay.
Techtonica
In this title you must explore a rogue alien world and dig through the sub-surface to construct factories. Either in solo mode or co-op, players must research technologies, gather resources, establish a base of operations and uncover long hidden secrets.
The Cave
One of the slightly older titles, The Cave was first released back in 2013 before it was pulled from console storefronts in 2018, which meant it was previously only accessible through Steam. The game itself is a puzzle-platform adventure game from Monkey Island creator, Ron Gilbert. A team of 3 can be chosen from 7 different adventurers, each with their own skills and unique personalities, to help delve into the mysterious depths of The Cave.
