Xbox Game Pass Alleged Secret Deals Prevented PlayStation Plus From Getting Quality Games

Xbox is a video game console system that was designed by Microsoft back in the early 2000s and manufactured for release within the next year. Microsoft entered the gaming world with this design and at that time the only competition they had was the Playstation and Nintendo. PS was launched way way back in 1994 and was the leading console gaming system followed by the GameCube, at the time of Xbox’s launch, PlayStation 2 was already up and running in the market.

Xbox Signs a Controversial Game Pass Over PlayStation

Recently, the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella has stated said that he would prefer to get rid of the concept of “exclusive” games perk that PlayStation has been enjoying. If this was brought to realization, it would have been beneficial to a huge number of gamers throughout the world, as not all have a PlayStation, many prefer the Xbox over PS. By removing this barrier, everyone would be able to play the games that were previously restricted.

But despite Nadella’s statement, recent documents have revealed that it’s the other way around as Microsoft underwent exclusive deals with gaming companies to bag games only for Xbox over PS  after their release. With this deal, Xbox will have the exclusive right over multiple games that would have been ventured on PlayStation’s platform, PlayStation Plus. Although the documents did not reveal the games or any other related information, Sony’s involvement proves its legibility.

Apart from it, gamers have enjoyed the facilities both of them have provided us with.

Which Is Better? Playstation or Xbox?

The flagship models are the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and if we are comparing them just in terms of specifications, the PS5 will provide a better gaming experience courtesy of its next-gen hardware and 4K Blu-ray drive. But the Xbox will provide superior fluency in hardcore gaming. Although the price of both devices is more or less the same, depending on the region, the experience they provide has a huge difference. Both of them have their own strengths and weaknesses, but ultimately it rests on the buyer and his preference.

In terms of games, the PS5 boasts a great deal over the Xbox Series X as there are a ton of games that are only exclusively available on PS5. Games like God of War: Ragnarok, Gran Turismo 7, Horizon: Forbidden West and Call of Duty are the exclusives among many others. Moreover, the Spider-Man games are also exclusive to PS5. Xbox Series X has games like Halo or Forza Horizon, but they are widely available on PC. In terms of sales, PS5 is ahead by 10.11 million units, and according to research conducted in the US, somewhere around 20% of PS5 owners own an Xbox Series X, but not vice versa.
