WWE Bombshell Dwayne Johnson is Accused of Hitting on is 9 Years Older Than Lauren Hashian

Following his peak in the world of pro-wrestling, Dwayne Johnson was involved in several memorable feuds, which defined the Attitude Era. Keeping in mind the actor’s in-ring ability, accompanied by his unparalleled mic skills, which are second to none, it is safe to say that we might never witness someone of the same caliber as The Rock again in the WWE universe.

However, in the Brahma Bull’s own opinion, he believes that another Wrestler is on the same level as him when it comes to contribution to the WWE’s most beloved era. But reflecting back on the Black Adam star’s comments, another industry veteran brushed off these statements, claiming it might be Johnson’s way of flirting with that WWE superstar.

Vince Russo accused Dwayne Johnson of hitting on Trish Stratus

After making her debut in the 2000s, Trish Stratus soon became one of the leading figures of the company, cementing herself as one of the most iconic Divas in WWE. The early 2000s would also witness Stratus allying with Dwayne Johnson to feud against WWE’s most polarizing figure Vince McMahon, and reflecting on his experience with Stratus, Johnson called her “the female Rock”.

But looking back at the Brahma Bull’s statement, renowned professional wrestling booker Vince Russo felt Johnson calling Stratus the female Rock wasn’t just his way of commending the Diva. He further explained that it might’ve been Johnson’s way of hitting on Trish Stratus, explaining,

“EC3, help me out here. Is he not hitting on her with this line? Let’s be honest… So, he’s probably hitting on her. Not to discredit any female wrestler out there because I love the female wrestlers, with the exception of Zoey [Stark], but was he not hitting on her? That sounds like so [The] Rock hitting on Trish Stratus, man,”

Although Russo didn’t mean to disregard Stratus’ influence on the Pro-wrestling world, the claim of her being the female Rock was a little far-fetched for Russo, stating it was nothing but The Rock’s way of flirting.

Trish Stratus’s husband took the matter of her kissing The Rock pretty professionally

This isn’t the only time when a debate has been sparked regarding Dwayne Johnson’s bond with Trish Stratus, as the two were involved in some brief romance back in the 2000s. In 2001, fans witnessed The Rock passionately kissing Trish Stratus for a WWF (now WWE) Segment, which resulted in the two teaming up to face McMahon and Angle. But this storyline was dropped shorty, leaving their onscreen bond underdeveloped. Reflecting back on the kiss, Stratus, who was married at the time, claimed her husband was pretty professional about the matter. She said,

“I went, I have to kiss The Rock tonight.” He’s like, “Cool. That’s going to be great for your character.” Amazing, right? As opposed to what maybe another husband might say.”
