“Wonder when they’ll reboot the franchise”: Disney Quietly Releases Johnny Depp’s $654M Pirates of the Caribbean Movie in Theaters on July 7

Disney gave the good news to all movie lovers when they announced the re-release of some of the blockbuster movies. Many hit movies will be arriving in the theatres in the coming months. Johnny Depp’s much-loved Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl will also be returning for Depp and the film series fans.

With the Pirates of the Caribbean film, movies like Toy Story, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, The Incredibles, Coco, The Lion King, and Moana will also be re-released on the big screen.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl will be released on 7 July 2023

Since Disney has announced that they will be re-releasing some of the famous Disney movies, people are excited to watch them again on the big screen. Johnny Depp’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl which was released in the year 2003 will be released again on 7 July 2023. Fans are excited to see the 60-year-old actor once again as Captain Jack Sparrow but they are also waiting for Pirates of the Caribbean part 6. Netizens want to know when will Disney come back with the much-awaited 6th part of the action-adventure series.

One of the netizens wrote that Disney went from remaking their films to re-releasing their films. Some other people mentioned that these re-release of some movies are part of a strategy to overcome the losses they’ve had recently. Netizens are requesting the makers of Pirates of the Caribbean to bring back the film series’s new installment as they want to see the Blow actor once again in his Captain Jack look.

Johnny Depp’s return to the Pirates of the Caribbean film series is noncommittal 

After Depp won the defamation trial against Amber Heard, people are rooting for the actor’s comeback in Hollywood. Depp fans want The Tourist actor to lead the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise again. During an interview, Disney’s production president Sean Bailey opened up about the 60-year-old actor’s comeback in the action-adventure franchise. Bailey also mentioned that they have a great story in hand for the upcoming movie but they cannot commit regarding Depp’s appearance in the movie. While talking about the Pirates of the Caribbean movie, the 53-year-old production president said,

“We think we have a really good, exciting story that honors the films that have come before but also has something new to say.”

While talking about Depp, Bailey said the 60-year-old actor’s comeback is, “noncommittal at this point.” This response by the head of Disney disappointed many fans and but fans are still hoping to the Dark Shadows actor will be brought back by the makers because of his popularity as Jack Sparrow. The re-release of the first part of the film franchise has once again ignited the question regarding Depp’s comeback in the series.
