Hill has indeed enjoyed success in his professional life with his remarkable roles in films like Moneyball, The Wolf of Wall Street, and much more. Despite his success in his work life, Hill seems to struggle in his personal life, which is made evident by a series of revelations made by his ex-girlfriend.
The writer of 22 Jump Street recently grabbed some negative attention for being marked as a ‘misogynist narcissist’ by his ex-girlfriend, Sarah Brady. Brady bashed out the Knocked Up actor for his problematic personality. The surf instructor even shared Hill’s demands to continue their relationship. Moreover, Brady shared her opinions on Stutz, the documentary series of psychiatrist Dr. Phil Stutz, Hill’s therapist. The documentary series is directed by the Moneyball star, but as per Sarah Brady, the documentary fails to meet its motive and she openly expressed her views on boycotting it.
Sarah Brady On Her Toxic Relationship With Jonah Hill
Sarah Brady, a surfer, and Hill’s ex-girlfriend, has taken to social media to share her side of the story, accusing the actor of being manipulative and emotionally abusive during their time together. Through a series of screenshots posted on her Instagram stories, Brady exposed alleged conversations with Hill where he repeatedly asked her to remove certain photos he deemed “s*xual” and demanded that she cut off friendships with both men and women he considered to be unstable situations.
Despite knowing the fact that Brady is the surf instructor, the Mid90s maker demanded her to not surf with any male and even asked her to avoid “Boundaryless inappropriate friendships with men”. Brady reposted one of her pics in a two-piece dress which she had to delete because of Hill. The surf instructor captioned the post as, “reviving a pic I took down by request of a misogynist narcissist.”
Sarah Brady On Boycotting Stutz
Sarah Brady not only made her toxic relationship with Jonah Hill public but also openly raised her voice to boycott Hill’s directed Stutz, which presents the story of his therapist. In her Instagram Stories, Brady expressed her disapproval of the documentary and labeled it as “unethical” and believed that the documentary could harm its viewers. The surf instructor even gave a glimpse into his mental health struggles and her subsequent healing process.
“I too struggle with mental health. It’s been a year of healing & growth with the help of loved ones and doctors to get back to living my life without guilt, shame, and self-judgment for things as small as surfing in a swimsuit rather than a more conservative wetsuit.”
The recent revelations made by Sarah Brady regarding her relationship with Jonah Hill took everyone by surprise. The Wolf of Wall Street star is yet to present his side of the story. However, the allegations made by Brady highlighted the toxic nature of her relationship and addressed the need to discuss unhealthy relationships and emotional abuse.
