The Godfather, I think, when you talk about action movies, the combined story with action. And again, you know, really well fleshed out characters and all that. I mean Godfather is without any doubt one of the best of that kind.” 

Discussing how the 1972 film changed his career trajectory, Schwarzenegger confirmed taking inspiration from the film and adding them to his own blockbusters.

Following his appreciation for Francis Ford Coppola, Schwarzenegger thus hailed Michael Crichton And Clint Eastwood. The actor recalled Crichton’s 1973 epic – Westwood, starring Yul Brynner, and mentioned how he adores the particular action flick. 

Westworld. Now that’s not — kind of — the most known movie, but it just had the most profound impact on me — what got me to be really interested in playing The Terminator.”

Discussing his third favorite action film, Arnold Schwarzenegger showered his praise on Clint Eastwood‘s 1992 action flick – Unforgiven.
