Matt Cardona Wants to Retire John Cena!
“It was the first time I came out into the arena knowing that this has a definitive end,” he said. “Normally, you come out, you get all excited, OK, this is the next one and I’m waiting for the next one. I’m not done, of course.”
Due to his growth in Hollywood, he is bound to take a rest as a WWE personality which is what Wrestle Features addressed with their fans asking who would they book a competitor against the former in his last match.
Matt Cardona is famous for his ring name Zack Ryder in WWE chimed in to nominate himself as a potential opponent by writing, “Me.”
The duo has a long history together as Ryder worked with the former in the early 2010s. He has been active on the independent circuit after being eventually released by the $9.3B franchise in 2020. This news came after Cena’s exit from Fast X was eventually shown to fans.
John Cena’s Exit from Fast X!
John Cena portrays Dominic Toretto’s estranged brother Jakob in the Fast and Furious series who debuted in F9. While his character had quite potential which he proved by returning to Fast X, it seemingly became his last portrayal as his character got sacrificed while saving Dom’s son, Little Brian.
What’s more interesting is the fact that the latest installment in the franchise’s post-credit scene included Dwayne Johnson, his old rival back just when his exit was seemingly portrayed. Due to their exit and return timelines, many hinted that the makers deliberately kept the duo apart from each other. Elsewhere, he mentioned that his character’s death happened as a part of his journey which got completed which means fans might not see him returning to the franchise again.
