Jada Pinkett Smith Spoke on Parenting with Will Smith
Jada Pinkett Smith stated that she and Will Smith argued “constantly” about the training Jaden Smith underwent for his Karate Kid reboot, which Jada Pinkett Smith vehemently disagreed with.
“I understand why men take their sons away for like whatever kind of warrior training because it is completely, utterly unfair and unnatural for a woman to have to sit and watch anything like that for her son,” she said. “Will and I were in constant conflict, to the point where we were warring over Jaden,” she added.
Jada Smith acknowledged throughout their conversation that she learned a lot about herself during that specific journey and was able to deal with a lot of emotional immaturity, emotional insecurity, and deep healing.
Jaden Smith Talked About Being Raised by His Famous Parents
In 2018, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s son made an appearance on Big Boy TV to discuss his childhood, and his famous parents. Jaden acknowledged that he didn’t feel like a “normal human,” which contributed to his decision to emancipate himself at the age of 16.
“You’re not a normal human if you can’t go out into the world,” Jaden said. “I don’t know how things always work. I always get nervous at the end of dinner. How do you have dinner with a group of people? When I have dinner with my dad, he orders everything on the menu, and then he pays for everything, and then he leaves. So it’s like — Is that how we do? Does everyone expect me to do that?”
Jaden Smith, however, has also mentioned that his parents taught him that everything was possible and that they were a constant source of inspiration for him. “My parents have always said I can fly. When I asked my parents if I could do something, they would always answer yes,” Smith replied, “My parents informed me that I could dig a hole to the other side of the earth.”
The young fame claimed that he fails to understand and is still working hard to understand that his parents are a staple in society and that they make people feel a type of way that nobody has ever made anyone feel.
