In a recently released report, Nolan revealed that he wrote the entirety of Oppenheimer in first person mode. With a very good reason to use the first person mode, the director revealed that the audience was essentially looking through the eyes of Oppenheimer.

“I actually wrote in the first-person, which I’ve never done before. I don’t know if anyone’s ever done it before. But the point of it is, with the colour sequences, which is the bulk of the film, everything is told from Oppenheimer’s point of view — you’re literally kind of looking through his eyes,”

The movie is set to release alongside Greta Gerwig’s Barbie as both the movies are set for a release date of 21st July 2023 in theaters across the world.
