Starring in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has boosted the careers of many Hollywood stars. With the massive success of the franchise, its stars like Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, and others have started making millions and it has also resulted in them landing more prominent roles in the future. Olsen who made her debut with the Avengers sequel has featured in multiple MCU projects.
She was last seen in the 2022 film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and has reportedly paid $2 million for the movie. However, the 30-year-old actress Noëlle Renée Bercy has questioned the studio’s paycheck system during a recent conversation about the writers’ and actors’ strike with Rolling Stone.
Elizabeth Olsen Made Millions As Scarlet Witch
Over the past years, Hollywood star Elizabeth Olsen has gained worldwide recognition as Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She made her debut with the 2015 Marvel film Avengers: Age of Ultron and reprised her role in following Marvel movies, along with a solo spin-off, WandaVision.
She was last seen in the Doctor Strange sequel alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, which features her transition from a hero to a villain. While her income from her initial films in the franchise is not available, she reportedly received $2 million for Avengers: Endgame and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Her earning from the movies is also believed to have extended based on a percentage of the film’s profits, as her contract states. However, based on her alleged salary from the two Marvel projects, it is assumed that she surely has made millions starring in the superhero franchise.
While Olsen, along with other Marvel stars, made millions, actress Noëlle Renée Bercy has claimed to have received only 14 cents in her most recent residual check for her 2018 Marvel series Cloak & Dagger.

Writers and actors have been constantly on strike against Hollywood Studios for fair pay. They have also been protesting against the growing use of AI by the studios. Many actors have shared their support for the strike and have been joining these strikes across Los Angeles.
Noëlle Renée Bercy has also been supporting the strike for days. Talking to Rolling Stone about the whole issue, she stated that the major problem in this whole situation is greed. “AI isn’t the only problem. It’s greed. Human greed is the problem,” she said.
She starred in the Marvel TV series, Cloak & Dagger, following two teenagers, Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson, who acquire superpowers in a life-changing event. Bercy played Evita Fusilier, Tyrone’s love interest in the series. It ran for two seasons before it was canceled in May 2019. However, unlike Elizabeth Olsen, the most recent residual check she received for the series was only 14 cents.
