With Modern Warfare 3 just around the corner, anticipation from Call of Duty fans is at its peak. The game is rumored to be one of the best titles in the franchise, coupled with original launch maps and exciting game modes along with a thrilling campaign and a long mission list. Modern Warfare 3 is Inspired by Real Events
As the campaign always takes the front seat in any Call of Duty game, gamers always like to know what kind of experience they’re in for. Brian Bloom explained that said that they are not doing any commentary on current events but are inspired by these events to make the story attractive to gamers. This is what he said:
“It is an entertainment adventure game. And as far as real people and real places doing real things, you know, all these are not based on actual events. We’re not doing any commentary on current events but are inspired by events. We want you to feel like when you play the game, it’s happening in the world that you live in, and our heroes are here to do things that put the world back the way it was, in the way we left it, to restore it. And that’s part of the kind of ethos on the Modern Warfare side of the house.”
Also, the campaign ending in MW2 is one of the most popular endings in the series with its cliffhanger and signal on the Modern Warfare 3 reboot. But, the content was very much debated by the fans and critics and players wanted more development in the single-player experience.
Modern Warfare 3 is a Direct Sequel to Modern Warfare 2
The campaign in Modern Warfare 3 starts just after the events of Modern Warfare 2 and brings the main villain of the reboot, Vladimir Makarov. The game features new combat missions and players will be able to continue their progressions and journey with players having more choices than ever before.
The game will also have the largest Call of Duty Zombie map ever and players will be able to join hands with other squads and defeat the hordes of deadly zombies. Additionally, the game will also have new missions, zombie features, and secrets to uncover. All 16 launch maps will also return alongside new battle maps and 6v6 maps.

With new gameplay innovations and improvements, players will be eager to have a thrilling experience as they will have customization and movement freedom. As the story in Modern Warfare 3 takes inspiration from the real things happening around the players themselves, it would be exciting to see what the campaign follows. However, no matter what we assume we can only be sure after Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 releases on November 10th, 2023.
