As the dust settled on the trilogy of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, people started their demand for a Spider-Girl series. With an uncertain future of the Cherry actor in the upcoming MCU projects, people feel that a series on May Parker, the daughter of Peter Parker should be imminent.

With the twisted ending of no one able to remember Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the chances of Tom Holland leaving the franchise is nigh.

Tom Holland To Make Way For Spider-Girl Series?

With the abrupt (and sad) ending of everyone forgetting who Spider-Man/Peter Parker was, the movie came to a halt. Although it managed to bring in the OG Spider-Man Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield into the show, it also made way for the Multiversal Saga that the MCU wants to portray further.

With the release of the latest trailer of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, people are invested in the different versions and storylines that the other Spider-People have been through. Among such characters is the daughter of Peter Parker called May Parker. Called the Spider-Girl, people took to Twitter to request that a show be made especially for her as Tom Holland’s future in the MCU remains uncertain.

The tweet showcasing a fanart earned itself a lot of online support as the people further tweeted that May Parker is one of the best characters to base a series on.

With the plans set in motion to include Tom Hardy’s Venom in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sometime soon, it would indeed be quite shocking if Marvel decided to let go of Tom Holland as Spider-Man. The Uncharted actor is loved and adored by millions of people that would also want to see a Spider-Girl series in the works.

Following the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland stated that this was the last time he will be seen swinging. It has however been alleged that Sony and Marvel have come to a certain agreement and could potentially bring in Tom Holland for further projects.

Presumably not, but if Tom Holland were to somehow retire from the franchise, there are several potential actors that can take the Pilgrimage actor’s place. The Bones and All actor Timothée Chalamet recently revealed that he had originally auditioned for the role of Peter Parker before it all went awry.

The actor, however, had further stated that he would knock on that door again if given the chance. Several young actors like Timothée Chalamet could potentially replace Tom Holland (although it would be sad to see) for upcoming MCU projects. Much like before, these are all rumors as everything stays unconfirmed without an official statement.
