The symptoms of incurable dementia include behavioral changes, severe speech and language problems, and distorted motor activities. This disorder currently lacks a proper cure and treatment, but the condition of the patient can be improved through therapies.
Bruce Willis Diagnosed With Incurable Dementia
Bruce Willis‘ family recently announced that The Last Boy Scout star was getting treated for FTD. Though they also added that the present condition of the star has progressed. The statement released by Willis’ family stated that in spring 2022 the actor was diagnosed with aphasia, a disorder that affects the communication abilities of an individual. The Live Free or Die Hard star’s condition has progressed and he has received a much more specific diagnosis of Frontotemporal Dementia.
The chances of FTD (Frontotemporal Dementia) increase after an individual crosses 60 years of age. Willis is currently 67. His family made sure to express their gratitude to all the fans and well-wishers who rooted for the well-being of the legendary actor. The statement added that the difficulties in speech and language are just one symptom of the incurable disorder and that the veteran star is suffering from much more.
Fans were disheartened witnessing the tragic news of their beloved superstar. The disorder forced the talented star to retire. FTD may not have any proper cure currently, but hopefully, the condition of Willis will be improved with the expert’s guidance and fans’ support.
