It only felt as if it was yesterday that James Gunn and Peter Safran had been declared the co-heads of the DC Studios. With plans of starting the entire cinematic universe from the ground up, it seems that the plan is finally getting into motion with the multiverse of the DCU.
With the upcoming television series DC’s Titans in full motion, it seems that the DC Cinematic Universe is collapsing and merging together. According to a video on Twitter, DC’s Titans has reportedly cameos of The Flash, Swamp Thing, and, Doom Patrol!
DC’s Titans Will Bring In The DCU Multiverse
A series running from 2018, DC’s Titans has been bringing characters from the iconic DC comics onto the television screens. With notable and iconic characters like Dick Grayson, Raven, and Starfire, the series has been getting bigger than ever and after James Gunn’s takeover, it seems that there is a crack in the multiverse of the DC Cinematic Universe.
According to sources on the internet, the fourth and final season of DC’s Titans is currently in development. What seemed to be a normal series of comic book superheroes turned into something much more as it is alleged that several iconic characters like The Flash, Swamp Thing, and, Doom Patrol are giving cameos in the series!
As expected, the news sent people into a frenzy as the hype train for the upcoming series as they took to Twitter to talk about their reactions. With multiple crossovers and notable cameos, fans talked about how the DCU is going to be better in the future.
It wasn’t all good however since the people also complained about certain actors such as Zachary Levi.
The reason for the backlash was quite clearly Zachary Levi’s comments on the earlier iterations of the DCU (formerly DCEU) since he had some controversial things to say about veteran director Zack Snyder.
James Gunn To Replace Zachary Levi In The DCU?
It is no secret that Shazam! Fury of the Gods failed to perform at the box office theaters. What people expected of the movie turned out to be a disappointment for DCU fans as the movie underperformed and Zachary Levi’s future was questioned.
A fan took to Twitter and tagged James Gunn asking whether the underperformance of the movie would result in Levi getting removed from the DCU. Gunn was quick to reply to the fan and stated a plain “no lol jesus”.
With the fourth and final season of DC’s Titans in full swing, the second part of the series is expected to release on 20th April and will be available to stream exclusively on HBO Max.
