Harry Potter Actors Knew Emma Watson Wanted to Leave The Franchise
The Harry Potter trio is one of the beloved squads all across the globe, consisting of the titular character(Daniel Radcliffe), and his friends, Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), and Hermione Granger(Emma Watson). Given their popularity, many might be shocked to know that she had plans to stop portraying her character at some point.
In the highly anticipated Harry Potter reunion, Watson’s co-stars shared their insights on the actress considering leaving the franchise.
The Wild Target actor told the Little Women actress,
“You were considering pulling out. I’ve never really spoken to you about that.”
Not just him, but The Lost City actor chimed in to express his viewpoint stating,
“We never really spoke about it. I guess we were just going through it at our own pace. We were kind of in the moment at the time. It just didn’t really occur to us that we were all probably kind of having similar feelings.”
Even actor, Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy shared that she was struggling since she had no one she could rely on.
“People definitely forget what she took on and how gracefully she did it. Dan (Daniel Radcliffe) and Rupert (Grint) had each other, I had my cronies, whereas Emma was not only younger, she was by herself.”
