We love him to death. We love the direction he’s going to take that world in,” Joe Russo said. When asked about their favorite DC character, the duo agreed on the Cape Crusader. Russo Brothers shared there are so many good characters in DC comics, but they prefer answering based on their collection as a kid.

Joe Russo shared that he mostly collected Spider-Man, X-Men, and Batman as a kid, and considering there have been a lot of “iterations of Batman,” he stated the Dark Knight as his “obvious answer.” Before The Grey Man directors’ names were added into the fold, Ben Affleck was expected to direct The Brave and The Bold.
