The 59-year-old actress in an appearance on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show shared her insights on working with Daniel Radcliffe in 2022’s The Lost City. Admitting that she is ‘obsessed’ with her co-star, she revealed it was because she knew who he was.

“I don’t know why I am so slightly obsessed with Daniel. I think it’s because, like all of us, we think we know who he is based on the tremendous amount of success that he garnered at a very young age in a massive franchise.”

While he has definitely amassed great success from the franchise, he is completely proud of his work.

“…I think I can see that he carries that [‘Harry Potter’] with him with a lot of respect, but in a guilty pleasure way, I want to see him turn things on its ear.”

Even his acting chops were what impressed the Speed actress.

“Like, he’s a grown man who has such charm and charisma and when he came aboard it was so fun to think about how he was going to look. We knew the acting would be a no-brainer, but how do you present Daniel Radcliffe so that the minute you see him you go, ‘What?'”

While his professional work highly impressed Sandra Bullock, it was his on-set persona that she was quite concerned with after her encounter with an “entitled” former child actor that left quite an impression on her.

Given that the English actor was already a global superstar due to his work in the $7.7 billion franchise, she was concerned about his personality. However, he changed his co-star’s thoughts by showing his real-life personality which is generous and nice, unlike actors who think highly of themselves.

“And to me, I don’t know, I just came to really admire and like him so much, because he was not at all what I expected him to be. I thought he’d be some narcissistic, entitled child actor who’s grown into an adult who would just come with all kinds of drama and he was nothing even close to that.”

Even the Swiss Army Man actor has mentioned that he dislikes bad attitude especially on-set with other cast and crew. He personally believes in being genuinely nice to everyone which is reflected in his demeanour. Meanwhile, their adventure-comedy film grossed $192 million worldwide and is available on Paramount+.
