In a 2018 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Winona Ryder said that the wedding scene in Bram Stoker’s Dracula was actually real. This meant that she and Reeves were married on the sets of the film. As per Ryder:

“We actually got married in Dracula. No, I swear to god I think we’re married in real life. In that scene, Francis [Ford Coppola] used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master and he did the whole thing. So I think we’re married.”

Even Francis Ford Coppola was asked about this by The Guardian in 2018 and he backed up Ryder’s claims. The acclaimed director said, “In a sense when we were all done, we realized that Keanu and Winona really are married as a result of this scene and this ceremony.” But what does the husband Keanu Reeves think about this?

Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves played Mina and Jonathan Harker in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The film grossed $215 million on a $40 million budget. Keanu Reeves is in a relationship with visual artist Alexandra Grant while Winona Ryder once dated Johnny Depp for about three years in the early 90s.
