DC’s The Flash is set to release soon and it has already been a topic of hot debate amongst the fans thanks to the lead Ezra Miller. From abuse allegations to s*xual harassment, Ezra Miller’s legal troubles don’t seem to die out soon.
While fans are willing to boycott the upcoming movie, some wish Ezra Miller to be fired from his iconic role. On a recent appearance on a podcast, Andy Muschietti, the director, was quoted as saying he would not replace them since the role seemed to be made for them.
Ezra Miller To Continue As Flash?
Andy Muschietti, who recently appeared on The Discourse podcast, wants Ezra Miller to continue as The Flash. He is willing to have Miller reprise their iconic role if a sequel to The Flash takes place. The director is of the view that the character was made for them, and nobody could ever replay the role as well as Miller did.
“I don’t think there’s anyone that can play that character as well as they did. The other depictions of the character are great, but this particular vision of the character, they just excelled in doing it. And, as you said, the two Barrys – it feels like a character that was made for them.”
Even the producer Barbara Muschietti added that Miller was one of the most dedicated and professional actors, who ‘gave everything for the role‘. While we don’t know for sure whether the sequel would be taking place or not, it would certainly be interesting to see how the movie plays out on the big screens worldwide.
