The Marvels Already Facing Heat From Fans

Although The Marvels is a live-action film and not an anime, it will draw inspiration only in terms of its special effects. However, the opening sequence of Ms. Marvel on Disney+, which features Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan, one of the lead characters in The Marvels, had a somewhat animated feel to it. Additionally, the show incorporated animated-style words and phrases throughout its live-action scenes, creating a unique blend of animation and live-action elements.

Incorporating animation into a live-action setting is not a new concept, and it is something that the director of The Marvels, Nia DaCosta, may consider. Following Creed III‘s footsteps, The Marvels could integrate anime-inspired elements into its storyline. As the three main characters, Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan come together in the film, their relationships may develop and evolve in intriguing ways, possibly leading to conflicts and challenges, as Michael B. Jordan hinted in his description of Creed III.
