Bryan Cranston is renowned for his role in the superhit TV series, Breaking Bad. Playing the male protagonist, the 67-year-old actor is swooned over by fans from all over the globe. A brilliant and quick-witted person, Cranston has recently come into the spotlight over rumors about his rivalry with his Breaking Bad co-star, Aaron Paul.

In a recent interview with British GQ uploaded on YouTube, Cranston cleared the air about the rumors about him and Paul. Replying to a tweet that asked if Bryan Cranston had adopted Aaron Paul, the Breaking Bad actor laughed and said,

“He [Aaron Paul] is young enough to be my son. No … We did clash a lot on ‘Breaking Bad,’ but I love the guy. He’s just a great human being. And we’re business partners now in Dos Hombres. There is a rumor that we have matching tattoos, but that’s not a rumor, we have matching piercings.”

Aaron Paul played the role of Jesse Pinkman while Bryan Cranston roleplayed Walter White in the megahit TV series, Breaking Bad. Cranston’s response in the YouTube video also ended up blowing up the wide web as the video got more than 655M views in only 5 days.

While Bryan Cranston admitted to rivalry with Aaron Paul on the TV show Breaking Bad, he also revealed how deep his friendship was with his co-actor. Cranston’s claim is backed up by the fact that the two co-actors also teamed up to launch a mezcal company jointly.

The duo is said to have joined hands much later after completing their show together, Breaking Bad, for opening up Dos Hombres, a mezcal company in 2019. After much teasing on social media, both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul finally revealed in July 2019 about the company that they partnered up for, which will be owned and operated by both of them.

Thus, both the actors added backup to their claims and proved just how strong their friendship is – Bryan Cranston through the YouTube video and Aaron Paul through his interview response calling Cranston his ‘closest friend’.

You can stream Breaking Bad on Netflix.
