Ever since the release of the first film in 2001, the Fast and Furious franchise has been dominating the box office with every new release, And so far, it had shown no signs of slowing down on the track of time. But with so much that the films have given us, it seems like the end is near, as the upcoming film claims to be the finish line.

And while it may be going out, it seems to be going out with a bang, throwing almost everything they can at it. Despite the franchise having a lot to be proud of about its long heritage and street-racing legacy, lead star Vin Deisel has revealed that the long-running series might’ve also broken a record that not many people have taken notice of.

After more than 20 years of bringing some of the most ridiculously action-packed and adrenalin-inducing films in the Hollywood industry, the Fast and Furious franchise has made a name for itself for being one of the most promising cinematic franchises that you can bet on to deliver. Along the way, there are several occasions when it has broken several industrial records, and according to Vin Diesel, they have now broken another one.

According to the Guardians of The Galaxy star, the franchise has now become the longest-running franchise in Hollywood with the same actors from the start of the series all the way to 2001. This is a spectacular testament to the great work that it has done over the years in continuing the story without any form of major deviation of the story.

While he may be right on the money with this claim, many fans also recall there have been several subtractions from the original cast. While the tragic loss of Paul Walker was an unforeseen departure of his character from the series, the character of Matt Schulze and Rick Yune were also retired from the franchise. And not only that, but the departure of Dwayne Johnson also came as a big surprise after The Fate of the Furious. Still, with just a small number of characters from the good old days, the franchise was able to turn itself into the cinematic universe it is today.

The trailer of the upcoming Fast X has revealed that the franchise will be throwing everything it has at the last film to give a proper send-off to the legacy. With the appearance of new faces like Jason Momoa as a villain and Brie Larson in an undisclosed role, the trailer was able to pack a lot of heat, which has now left the fans impatient to see what else it has in store for us.
