Sneider added,
“My source did not actually know how many episodes they wound up with, but apparently it needed like a top-down rejiggering and Kevin was not happy with it.”

About Marvel Studios’ show Echo
The series will focus on the original story of Echo. It shows Maya Lopez returning to her hometown, and there she has to face her past, try to reconnect with her Native American roots, and embrace her real family and community.
The series star is Alacqua Cox, who plays the role of Maya Lopez aka Echo. Other cast members are Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, Graham Greene, and Zach McClarnon. Actor Vincent D’Onofrio will be reprising his role as Kingpin.
The series lead Alaqua Cox shared her thoughts at D23 about the indigenous and deaf representation at MCU. She shared,
“Because I remember growing up and watching things on the screen it was always a white guy who played this superhero. So we need more people of color to be in the MCU and it’s just amazing that it’s changing. And I can’t wait for the future to be more inclusive because I believe the kids deserve to see that inclusivity.”
Echo will be released on Disney+ as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
