Recently, Marvel fans got a taste of their own medicine when Avatar: The Way of Water passed Avengers: Infinity War. The Avatar fans went on Twitter to remind MCU fans that James Cameron’s vision was superior to Marvel Cinematic Studios as he believed in ‘quality over quantity’.
A fan expressed his astonishment at the success of Avatar 2 as the hype for Infinity War was a build-up of over 15 movies.

Why are Fans Praising Avatar : The Way of Water?
The most common misconception that people have of the Avatar franchise is that they assume that both films had a similar story of colonization, and racial differences, leading to war. However, Avatar : The Way of Water was unique, and a fantastic film. There can be some minor similarities as the franchise focuses on family and cultural inclusivity.
Avatar 2 had mesmerizing VFX and CGI, and is one of the best films that knew how to utilise their resources to their maximum use. James Cameron’s vision and ideas for world creation were top-notch in the second film as well, making the audience believe that they must expect a lot of surprises in the future sequels of the film.
James Cameron’s introduction of new characters in the sequel, as well as the development of the existing and new characters was amazing, which added to the flare of the film. In addition to the world-building, character development, and epic action shown in the film the technology used to project, Avatar 2 had the highest 3D quality and High Frame Rate projection. Despite having a runtime of 3 hours and 12 minutes, the time is worth it.
