Tom Holland, along with Zendaya and Kevin Feige was interviewed by Cinemablend in 2021. There they talked about their movie Spider-Man: No Way Home and their experience in the film. In the movie, Spider-Man takes the help of Doctor Strange to make people forget his exposed secret identity as Peter Parker. However, Strange’s spell goes terribly wrong, which opens the portal to the multiverse and invites unwanted guests into their universe.
The film offered a nostalgia factor as it brought the former Spider-Men as well as their stark enemies back on the screen. Tom Holland shared that he was thrilled to work with the original Spider-Man and the villains. On being asked if he wished to recreate any scene from Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man, the actor was left in deep thought. Zendaya and Kevin Feige were quick to remind him, as it turns out, Holland wished to do the famous inverted kiss scene from the movie.
The original upside-down kiss scene happened between Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, which went viral and is still considered a fan favorite. However, Holland had other plans as he pulled Jacob Batalon‘s hand instead of his girlfriend Zendaya for the kiss scene recreation. Zendaya added to the fun as she wished them luck and told them to have fun.

Tom Holland’s superhit movie Spider-Man: No Way Home was released in 2021 and it smashed all records. The movie was made with a budget of $200 million and its worldwide box-office collection was $1.922 billion. It is the highest-grossing film of 2021 and the seventh-highest-grossing film of all time. The movie even surpassed the collection of Star Wars: Force Awakens at $936.6M and 2019’s superhit Avengers: Endgame at $858.3M.
In an interview with New York Times, Kevin Feige and Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal confirmed that a fourth film in the series is in the making. He shared,
“Amy and I and Disney and Sony are talking about — yes, we’re actively beginning to develop where the story heads next.”
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige shared with Entertainment Weekly that the script is in the works. He said that they have a story and the writers are just putting pen to paper now.
