No doubt the studio is up for bringing the character in more Spidy movies and screen appearances in other movies of the studio. Fans also love Holland’s Spiderman as he brought a new version of the character to the table.
Tom Holland Will Keep Playing Spider-Man
Tom Holland feels lucky to play the iconic comic book character in the franchise. Recently, talking to ET at the premiere of his new Apple TV+ series, The Crowded Room the actor said that he will keep playing Spider-Man as long as they could do justice to Peter Parker.
“I think as long as we can do justice to Peter Parker. As long as we can keep elevating and making the films better and making them mean more, then I’ll be there,” Holland said.
“I’d be stupid to say that I wouldn’t be the luckiest kid alive if I got to do it again, there’s stuff going on, but we’ll have to just wait and see what happens.”
Further, the actor also revealed that Spider-Man 4 was in the works but halted due to the writers’ strike in Hollywood. Although at that point he could not reveal much, the actor said that he has “been having meetings” with the studio.
“I can’t talk about that, but I can say that we have been having meetings. We’ve put the meetings on pause in solidarity with the writers […] There’s been multiple conversations had, but at this point it’s very, very early stages,” Holland told Variety.
Earlier, MCU President Kevin Feige and producer Amy Pascal also confirmed the fourth installment of the movie.

Tom Holland as Producer
Holland is all geared up for the promotion of his new Apple TV+ series, The Crowded Room where he played Danny Sullivan. Set in 1979, Sullivan is arrested after involvement in a shooting in New York City. Inspired by Daniel Keyes’ novel The Minds of Billy Milligan the thriller will follow crimes and investigations around Manhattan.
Holland also serves as an executive producer in the thriller series. When asked about his experiences as an executive producer, the actor told ET that it was a fascinating learning experience.
“It’s interesting. You know the producing side of things was a really steep learning curve. Being on set, performing in this role, going to those dark places, while also, handling certain issues that happen every day on a film set was a little bit overwhelming,” the Uncharted actor said.
“But I had an amazing team of people. Alexandra, Akiva, Ally, all of the people at Apple were so supportive of me.”
Further, the actor said that he’d “absolutely” serve the role of a producer again adding that he “loved it.” “Being a part of the edit, working with the producers, building the show, casting everything. I loved it,” he said.
The Crowded Room also stars Amanda Seyfried, Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Will Chase, Lior Raz, Laila Robins, and Henry Eikenberry. The Apple TV+ series will be streaming from 9 June 2023.
