The next generation of console wars has begun as the PS5 and Xbox Series X battle it out once again. With exclusives a strong point for both companies, Starfield seems to be a trump card for Microsoft company right now.
Although it is a trump card, recent updates for Starfield seem to disappoint fans (and rightly so) as fans immediately started dissing the exclusive. As per the latest reports, a physical copy of the exclusive will not be available to order. Instead, the people will simply receive a code that will enable them to have the game digitally…even though they purchased the physical edition!
Starfield Gets Disappointing Updates As Fans Troll The Game
Having been hyped up since the year 2018, Starfield may indeed be worth the hype but not if some decisions might ruin its release! With notable studios in the mix for the development of the game, fans have kept their hopes high that the game will be enough to beat PS5’s God of War Ragnarök and other exclusives.

Bethesda Game Studios, known for iconic games such as the Doom franchise and The Elder Scrolls franchise, announced the project back in 2018. With adding hype to the game every year, it seems that fans are in for a disappointment as according to rumors, Starfield may not have a physical disc at all. Taking to Twitter, rumors started circulating that the physical edition of the game would only contain a digital code to get the game digitally, fans are now worried to jinx the game’s release!
With rumors abounding the internet, things got so escalated that the official account of Starfield had to intervene in the Twitter thread. It seems that Bethesda Espanol’s Twitter account came in handy as they had already promoted the physical edition of the game!

Starfield Intercepted The Rumors Before It Could Damage The Game!
Although people agree that the age of physical games is over, fans cannot help but be fascinated by the aspect of physically owning a video game. The gaming studios behind the Xbox exclusive felt the same as they quickly announced that the physical edition of the game was indeed available for sale.
The official Twitter account of Bethesda Espanol promoted the video game wherein it specified that the physical edition of the game will indeed contain…a physical disc. Starfield is currently slated for a release date of 6th September 2023 and will be exclusively available for Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and Microsoft Windows.
