Chris Evans is best known for his self-righteous, noble, and honorable character Captain America. Often portraying somewhat selfless characters, it was surprising to see Evans finally star as a grey character in Knives Out.
The Hollywood heartthrob rather did a ‘killing’ job starring as a villainy character, even shocking the Knives Out director Rian Johnson with his amazing acting.
Chris Evans Convinced Rian Johnson That He Is Among The Best Of Actors
Knives Out exceeded expectations when it went on to get an Oscar nomination for Original Screenplay. With a tremendous cast of actors along with an entertaining storyline, the movie was viewers’ delight. Even the director Rian Johnson had much fun shooting with the whole cast in this mystery thriller. During a scene commentary, Johnson went on to applaud the Captain America star Chris Evans’ acting as some of the best he has ever seen.
During the entrance of Chris Evans‘ character Ransom Drysdale, two dogs come running up to Ransom, surrounding him as he is getting ready to go the will reading. Rian Johnson described it as one of the best acting he has ever seen, convincing him that Evans is among the best of actors. Adding on he said that the scene was even better to film because,
“Dogs love Chris Evans, and Chris Evans loves dogs.”
While it is true Chris Evans is way too fond of dongs, Evans acting in the mystery thriller really showed fans the versatility and talent of the Avengers star. His devious and scheming character was much appreciated and applauded by critics of the film, proving to all that Chris Evans is capable of playing a wide range of roles.
Chris Evans Is Too Fond Of Dogs
The Knives Out star is well known for his love of dogs. He loves his dog so much that he wouldn’t dare date anyone who does not get along with his furry friend. Chris Evans adopted his dog Dodger back in 2015, and since then the two have been inseparable. When asked about his dating life, he once said in an interview,
“You gotta make sure the person you’re interested in loves dogs.”
And Chris Evans’ dog is just as possessive of him as he is. He once said,
“He gets a little jealous if I start giving another dog a little bit of love. He butts right in there. He doesn’t like that, but he loves new people and he is wonderful with dogs. He is just a little possessive of me, which I think is adorable.”
Often seen out with his best pal, Chris Evans considers Dodger the most beautiful thing in the world.
